Video Game Made With Scratch
Don't forget to log every day with specific details about what you planned or accomplished.
Goal: For this project, you will be creating one or more video games using Scratch.
Artifacts: Share your game to get a shareable link which can put put as your artifact in Google Classroom.
Game Design Details to Know:
You can work either on your Chromebook or one of my classroom computers.
Game Options: creating your own PacMan game, a ping pong game--one player or two player, a baseball or football game, or your own idea with approval from Mrs. Pennington.
Your plan sheet should include details about the setting, background, characters, and details for player controls.
Your Choice Writing link should be a resource to help you code your project.
You are expected to work the entire project time. If you feel like you have finished early, then you will need to find more details to edit in your video.
You will join my Action Independent Projects classroom in Scratch. If you already have a username and password, we will see if you can use it to join my classroom.
NO VIOLENCE is allowed in the videos. No shooting or killing of people is allowed.
You are encouraged to allow your classmates to play your and give you feedback. Just make sure not to take up too much of their project time.
Remember that games are intended for an audience. You are expected to include instructions for how to play the game in your Scratch work.
You may work with another person to complete the project.
Headphones are available to use, but they are not good quality, so you may want to bring your own.
There is a microphone available if you would like to record your own sounds for your project.
