Acrylic/Water Color Painting
Don't forget to log every day with specific details about what you planned or accomplished.
Goal: To create a painting or series of paintings.
Artifacts: A color wheel painting, the painting(s) that you created, and pictures of the painting. You are expected to paint through the entire project.
Project Details to Know:
You can paint with watercolor or acrylic paints.
There is a wide variety of sizes of paint surfaces to use: canvas boards, stretched canvas, mix media paper.
There is a green tub with all the paint supplies.
You can use a coffee cup for the water. At the 4 minute clean up timer each day, you should wash out the brushes in the bathroom sink and make sure to clean the sink as well.
The smaller canvases can be stored in your box.
There is also a paint board to which you can tape your canvas.
Your first step on either project is to create a color wheel using the paints.
You may want to cover your table to make clean up each day easier. There are newspapers in one of the black crates along the hallway wall.
You may try to recreate a picture or painting by another person. You may print a copy of the picture to keep in your project box.
