LED Lights and Batteries Projects

Don't forget to log every day with specific details about what you planned or accomplished.  

Goal:  To use single LED lights and copper tape and/or wires to create a visually pleasing project that lights up at the push of a button.

Artifacts:  This is a project with no clear end.  You could add more decoration or lights to the project if needed.   You should work on the project for the full 8 days.  The number of pieces created will depend on the intricacy of the pieces.    

Project Details to Know:

• Individual LED lights, insulated wire, and copper tape can all be found in the Wires/Electrical box.

• Mrs. Pennington has 2032 button batteries and AA batteries that she keeps on the shelf behind her desk.

• Your Project Plan should include a schematic drawing of your project.

• Your Project Choice writing should include a link to information about how to use individual LED lights with batteries to make sure that you are working safely.  

• Batteries should be removed from the project at the end of each day for safety.
