Crocheting

Don't forget to log every day with specific details about what you planned or accomplished.  

Goal:  For this project, you will be be crocheting a project.  

Artifacts:   Pictures of the items that you have crocheted.  

Project Details to Know

• Your Project Plan should include documentation about the projects you wish to complete or drawings of your potential projects including the materials you will be using.

• Your Choice Writing link should be a link to either a crochet project you would like to complete or a resource that gives tips and techniques to improve your crocheting.  

• There is a copy paper boxed titles Yarn/String which has the yarn and string which you can use to crochet your item.

• I have a can of different crochet hooks and you can keep the ones that you are using in your project box with the yarn that you are currently using.

• You can sit anywhere while working on your project.  If you wish to sit on the floor with your Chromebook to follow the videos or work, you may.  

• For step 1 of this project, you will start with just crocheting a chain that is 1 yard long.  If you feel like your first chain did not work out well, you can create a second chain to practice your skills.  

• For step 2 of the project, you will find a video that will show you how to crochet a 5" by 5" or bigger square. If you feel like your first square did not work out well, you can create a second square to practice your skills.  

• During Step 3 of the project you will Google search the terms "crocheting projects for beginners."  Find a video that will show you how to complete a simple project and then make a list of materials that you will need for your project.  

•  Your project may allow for talking during your work, but you should make sure not to get in the way of thinking space for your classmates. 

• I also have yarn needles which may be used to add details to your project.
