Late Slip for Mrs. Pennington's Class

Good morning.

You will be completing a project for my classroom today.  I have wanted to have excusal slips for my students to be late to their next class.  I want them to be small so that several can be printed on one page to save paper, but I also would like them to save time.

You will be using Publisher to create this project.

Once you open Publisher, you will need to go to the Publications for Print section and choose Labels.  This will make labels of all sizes, so you will need to pick one that fits about 8 slips per page. To do this, you will need to choose one and then look at the print preview to see how big they are.

Some things to include:

Mrs. Pennington's Class

Please excuse ______________ to      hour.

Date:

Time:

my smiley face with a book.

Upload it to Acrobat when you are finished.

With the remaining time play one of the three games listed above at the right or read AR.

Make it interesting to look at, but keep the words the most interesting.

4.  Print and trim.  Glue together on a green sheet of construction paper.

5.  Use a piece of scratch paper and practice cutting a piece of paper into 16 pieces.  Then cut your poster into 16 pieces and put in an envelope or bag.   Label the bag with the area and a color.
